He's the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RuralXR. He knows Rural communities, because that's where he was raised and where he works. His hope is to bring Extended Reality (XR/AR/VR) technology to Rural communities and industry so that they may benefit from advances in productivity. He believes that technology is an equalizer that can assist in supplanting the knowledge gap rural and disadvantaged communities often face.
As a teenager, Nathaniel spent the evenings and summers working in his Father's equipment manufacturing shop in Rural Tennessee. During college, Nathaniel worked as a water treatment plant operator, which propelled him into the field of Water Resources Engineering. Mr. Green went on to pursue a Master's Degree with an emphasis in Water Supply and Environmental Engineering, with his capstone project leading to the replacement of a conveyance for his hometown water source (a $2.75M project which earned $625,000 in grant funding) - awarded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Currently, Mr. Green works with more small, rural, and disadvantaged communities than any other Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee. His work includes assistance with the operation, design, and repair of water and wastewater facilities. Nathaniel's projects have been recognized by industry as well as government agencies for their contribution. In the last decade, Nathaniel has assisted these communities in obtaining more than $12M in grant funding, and more than $30M in low interest loans for water and sewer infrastructure repair and replacement.
Mr. Green is a Registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia, as well as a Certified Grade 4 Water Treatment Plant Operator in Tennessee.
